Bloody
Mary and the Virgin Queen, a riotous musical comedy imported from
England, plays on stage at the Pioneer Theater in downtown Manteo every
Wednesday at 3:30 PM from July 12th through August 15th. Starring
Miss Barbara Hird and Marsha Booth Warren, the award winning
production presents a humorous view of England's Queen Elizabeth I
and her older sister Queen Mary in a modern up-beat style. The 50
minute matinee is ideal entertainment for visitors who shop and dine in
downtown Manteo.
The
production is now in its 4th season.
